HERA Humanitarian Leadership Accelerator
Help develop emerging humanitarian leaders.
Bring your expertise, experience and resources to help emerging leaders turn humanitarian intent into meaningful action.
A programme built with the humanitarian community
Humanitarian challenges need the next generation of leaders.
HERA is built on the belief that developing humanitarian leaders requires more than training. It requires exposure to experienced practitioners and leaders, opportunities to apply learning, real humanitarian challenges and connection to the wider humanitarian community.
We are bringing together organisations and individuals who can help us create those opportunities.
By partnering with HERA, you can contribute your funding, expertise, experience, networks or humanitarian work to help develop emerging humanitarian leaders and strengthen their ability to contribute meaningfully to humanitarian action.
The HERA Journey
HERA takes Participants through four connected phases:
Learn
Build humanitarian knowledge, practical capability and leadership.
Experience
Apply those capabilities through an immersive humanitarian simulation.
Deliver
Work with humanitarian organisations on real Missions addressing genuine humanitarian needs.
Connect
Remain part of a growing community of humanitarian practitioners, leaders and organisations.
Programme Mentors guide and challenge Participants throughout their HERA journey.
Partners make this experience possible.
Why partner with HERA?
HERA gives organisations a practical way to invest in the next generation of humanitarian leaders. By contributing expertise, experience, resources or opportunities, Partners help Participants turn their intent to help into the capability to contribute—while strengthening the wider humanitarian community.
